Graphene to Disrupt Biofilms on Dental Implants

Scientists established that the layer of graphene can form a protective film on the surface of implants that can prevent bacterial infection.

Systems, for example, dental implant or knee substitution surgery always carries a danger of bacterial infection. Microorganisms that enter the body circulate in liquids, such as, the blood, and discover surfaces to stick to. Graphene has a high potential for health applications. But, more research is required before we can claim it is completely safe. In addition to other things, we realize that graphene does not degrade easily.
